The Haedong Academic Information Library Operating Procedure

Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this bylaws is to create a proper culture and atmosphere of use of the Haedong Academic Information Room (each data room and reading room) built at the engineering university with the support of the Haedong Science and Culture Foundation.
 
Article 2 (Operating Organization)
A steering committee consisting of four professors under the planning director of the College of Engineering will be formed with one employee in charge of overall management to decide on major matters related to the operation of the Academic Information Office.
 
Article 3 (Operation of archives)
Opening hours shall be from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the semester and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the vacation.
The latest trends in engineering and publications related to expertise are provided to help students' academic activities. However, data must be viewed at a designated place, and loans are not allowed.
In addition to Korean and English publications, Chinese-language publications are provided and translators are available for the convenience of students.
Copy and scan publications using copiers and scanners in the data reading room.
 
Article 4 (Operation of reading room)
Opening hours shall be from 9:00 to 24:00 on weekdays during the semester and from 10:00 to 22:00 on weekdays during vacation. However, it is open 24 hours a day for two weeks from one week before the exam period during the semester.
 
Article 5 (Seminar Room Operation)
Opening hours shall be from 9:00 to 22:00 on weekdays during the semester and from 10:00 to 20:00 on weekdays during vacation.
It provides an environment for discussion or study in groups of 2-6 people, and a small projector and screen are installed to enable presentation and discussion.
In principle, Team 1 should be used for up to two hours, which can be adjusted according to the situation.
 
Article 6 (Measures to Leave on the Day)
If the following acts are detected, you may immediately take measures to check out.
1. Interrupting learning due to noise
(cell phone, cassette, alarm clock, shoe sound, vinyl, other noise)
2. An act that hinders the learning atmosphere due to excessive expression of affection.
3. Bringing food other than beverages into the reading room.
4. Entering the room after drinking alcohol
5. Playing games in the reading room
6. Privateization of reading room seats
7. Other acts that interfere with learning
 
Article 7 (Prohibition of entry while attending school)
If the following acts are detected, access is prohibited while attending school and referred to the disciplinary committee of the College of Engineering.
1. an act of theft
2. Sexual harassment
3. Intentionally damaging facilities, fixtures, and materials in the jurisdiction
 
Article 8 (Other)
Matters insufficient in these bylaws shall be determined by the dean after consultation with the steering committee.
 
Article 9 (Enforcement)
This by-laws shall come into effect as of September 1, 2011.
